Bungalow Transformation

A comprehensive transformation of a neglected and unloved bungalow set within a generous plot. The property had stood empty for several years and had been subject to a series of unsympathetic additions that compromised both its appearance and internal flow.

The design strategy focused on removing poorly conceived elements, simplifying the form and revealing the site's potential. Carefully considered new extensions were introduced to create a generous three-bedroom family home with a large, light-filled open-plan living space.

A welcoming new entrance sequence, utility and cloakroom improve functionality, while extensive glazing connects the house to the garden beyond. The result is a calm, contemporary home with greatly improved flow, natural light and a renewed architectural presence.
